On the A21

We shared this road for a short way today, no opportunity to overtake but happy to wait until the driver took his trap off towards Westerham. It looked quite a young horse, or pony.

We were on our way for lunch in Flimwell at the Weald Smokery, Mount Farm. We learnt to book next time as it’s obviously very popular. Our possible 20 minute turned into 2, for which we were very grateful. Delicious shared smoked fish platter after an equally delicious vegetable soup with smoked chicken pieces for starters.

The plan was to go in the MG only it was dead as the proverbial dodo....we’ve not used it for several weeks and have actually never had to charge the battery before. It’s charging nicely this evening.
