Drop Pancakes
A chilly day, but plenty of sunny spells. A calm morning, with a breeze picking up, calmer again this evening.
Another day working in the museum office. I've been scanning photos from the Lerwick observatory, mostly from the 1960s and 70s. A busy day in the museum, and Unison were in for an AGM meeting. A lovely night to be out walkies with Sammy, and he met plenty of his doggy friends. Been up to big Brian and Madeline's for a cuppa, and then off to work in the pub.
Madeline invited us over for for a cuppa, and being Shrove Tuesday, pancakes were flying off the pan. They were hot, and the butter melted over them, just the way we always had them as bairns, the best way. Here's Madeline busy at the cooker, getting the drop pancakes into the pan. Taken at Dunbiggin, Berry Road, Scalloway.
