Are These Socks Happy?

According to a well know (and now very wealthy) guru on the subject, apparently its a cardinal sin to pair socks together by folding 1 elasticated top over the other. They will be very unhappy. Who knew? These are Penny's socks, stored with me till their next visit home. I hope that they are happy.
