Muscari

I have been so busy these past two weeks it was really wonderful to have a day at home today. I spotted so many little spring flowers popping up everywhere when I was out walking with Murdoch, and I was pleased to see these muscari that have now appeared. It is extremely windy today, I was planning on taking some blossom shots, but no chance in this wind.

Tomorrow evening it is the Quiz Night for parents at Thomas' school. I am one of the organisers so I have prepared 2 rounds of the questions, while the other mums involved have done the other rounds. I obviously have to sit out the rounds that I have prepared. We sit at tables and eat a picnic supper so I went and bought the ingredients I need to make my dish, which I want to do in the morning as later I am meeting a friend for coffee.

I have book club tonight so I also had to finish the book today! It's not the sort of book I usually read but I have really enjoyed it - The Dry by Jane Harper. It has been made into a movie after the rights were bought by Reece Witherspoon, so I did want to read the book before seeing the movie.
