Snow way, Jose!

Perfect spring day yesterday, winter wonderland today!

I was worried about John and Norma driving home in it but by the time we'd lingered over coffee and bagels and Norma had played games with Lola (see extra :-) the snow had melted and the sun was shining.

David took Lola for a walk on the moor.  Unfortunately by the time they got there the weather had turned cold, wet and windy, not that it bothered Lola, she had a ball!

Of course it was Sod's Law that by the time they got back to the house the sky was blue again and the sun was shining.  

After lunch, D and I spent half an hour upstairs making the final decision regarding decorating our bedroom.  

We have decided to keep the wall paper we have on the feature wall and paper the rest of the walls in Laura Ashley's Blyth Dark Linen wallpaper.  New bedding, cushion covers and throw will complete the refresh.  This also means we can re-hang the made-to-measure curtains we bought when we originally decorated the room, so saving ourselves a fortune.  Looking forward to seeing it all done now.

Oh, and David found a gift voucher for Miller and Carter that we were given and had misfiled!  Just as well as it's to be used by the end of this week, so we're now unexpectedly going out for dinner on Tuesday evening.  

And as if that wasn't enough to look forward to in one week, I also have a Blip meet with Scotguide to look forward to on Wednesday.  We are meeting at our favourite local deli.  In order to identify each other, I shall wear a carnation and she will wear a tartan scarf :-))))  Can't wait!
