Moorswater Viaducts
We took the train up to Liskeard today, and after a dreary walk around the town in drizzle walked out to the Moorswater viaducts in the forlorn hope of an improvement in the weather. That was not to be, but we did at least get to see them. We were also fortunate with the timing and able to catch one of the few trains per day calling at Coombe Halt Station which is a few minutes walk away and avoids a long walk back up the hill to Liskeard.
The drizzle was proper rain while we were there so not easy to get a view looking up at the structure without collecting rain spots on the lens - my blip is a view through one Brunel's original piers onto the replacement viaduct built several years later. Monochrome version in the extra.
