Arrochar Church

A beautiful sunny day

We are away on a short break gifted by our family for Christmas. We were headed for the Arrochar Hotel on Loch Long. Because of recent snowfalls, all the mountains looked so beautiful in the sunshine making the journey to the west really enjoyable.

After checking in, we went for a walk and saw this fine looking church with its ornate tower, highlighted against the hills.

Our room has a great view of the loch and the Cobbler, well known to climbers.
