The unexpected

Sometimes it's the smallest of acts that are the most significant.

I was not expecting a Christmas card from the people who gave me these. So it was wonderful to receive them. The lovely messages inside were even more unexpected.

I've been on the touchline at AFC Fylde v Ilkeston this afternoon as the Sports Therapist, so my usual place on the pa system was taken by a stand-in. The poor guy had barely said "good afternoon" before people were asking me to do both jobs :)

One of the best things about non league football is the hilarious banter you can have. And I must pay tribute to the Ilkeston fans who all turned up in fancy dress and sang Christmas Carols all afternoon.
