First Official Park Run

My first official Parkrun at Lytham Hall. I'm the old women in purple clutching her phone. Grief! If they are going to have photo calls, I'm going to have to carry a hairbrush and some make-up in my running belt so that I can make myself look presentable after runs. 

There were 256 people in the park  run, and I didn't do too badly at all. I came sixth in my age group and there were a lot more than 6 of us. At least I think there was, but I can't be sure. :-) I don't know who the first 5 were but I shall have them identified next week and chase them down. I jest - I will do no such thing. I'm in competition with no one except myself.

I didn't get any sleep last night and I was tired when I set off and finished, but I don't think I will have any difficulty sleeping tonight. 

My time and distance today means that I can join the Wesham Road runners on Monday evening. I was in this group years ago, but I recently threw the vest away because it was such a tiny size. I am happy to buy a much bigger one and run much slower.

I think this is the first time I have blipped a photo not taken by me, but I don't do selfies.
