...or should it more correctly be called Asphalt Concrete? My university days when I learnt about all this stuff are long since gone.

Whichever it is they've laid the final wearing course on the pavements outside my new house. Very smart it looks too. I soon left some tyre marks on it though when I popped out on the Brompton later in the day!
