Mr Pheasant

Today's the day ……………………… to puff up

Mr Pheasant remains a constant visitor to our garden and right now he's looking even more magnificent than ever.

Presumably it's because he's putting on his best show for the females of the species - it being that time of year when nature's sap starts to rise.  Not quite sure why he has to bother though, because there are not one - but two - Mrs Pheasants who are his constant companions.  It's obvious that he can do no wrong in their eyes.

So I reckon he's doing it for himself - because he can.  Have you ever seen a more gloriously put-together array of colours?  Paris Fashion Houses - eat your heart out …………………….
