Can you see me?
Mallard nest building right beside the education centre. There were three mails all sitting in wait for her!
A bizarre request today when the teacher asked me to put fairies up in the room before the children arrived! Tiny and delicate we did as asked and the children were ecstatic. Apparently those fairies have been visiting their classroom too!
Penultimate story reading today. A competition ran inviting children to write a 900 maximum word story with the theme of LC and time travel. 750 stories later and we have at least read every one. Three piles, one for YES, one for MAYBE and one for NO. The No pile was huge. I read some real rubbish! Fortunately a few were either innovative or funny as well as fairly well written. We now have to take the Yes and Maybe piles and find the ten best from each age category. In April I will go to London with our CEO and a couple of staff from the marketing team to meat with Clare Balding to choose the winners. We are also promised a nice lunch at the National Liberal Club.
