A Chipped Composition

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Eldest Mini Princess is playing in two school musical ‘Spring Flings’. As usual, it was good but I always have to steel myself for the Junior strings orchestra. I admire any parent with a fledgling violinist. I might struggle to encourage practising something that is the aural equivalent of sticking needles in my eyes.

I was quite amused by one of the guitar ensemble pieces. It was Czardas by Zoltan Zoss. The guitar teacher only fessed up at the end that it’s one of his compositions and that he has gotten away with Zoltan Zoss for three years. Just as well he isn’t English. Zoltan Vinegar isn’t nearly as good!
