Lambs.
Another day round home dealing with various things. Realising that I hadn't done a lamb blip this year I popped out looking for some. In the hills round here it is traditional to put the "tups" in with the "yows" on bonfire night. This results with lambing starting on the 1st April.
However we aren't quite into the fells so there are a range of lambs around from those born in January to ones a week or so old. These two are at the younger end.
The mothers were "greyface" (Leicester x Swaledale) which means the father would be a large lowland breed, traditionally Suffolks. These two look as if Dad was a texel.
