Goodbye stockings!

It is six weeks today since my heart operation and today am allowed to cast off my surgical stockings.  I've had to wear them day and night except for 10 minutes for a shower. I didn't mind them in the day but they were very hot at night.

I wasn't allowed to put them on myself so F has done them most of the time with Shropshirelad doing them when he was here and a neighbour has helped out too.

I made a card for F and my neighbour thanking them for putting them on me. 

There was mixed feelings in my sock drawer. Some were excited to be back in action again while others were lying low as they'd got used to the lazy life!
