Bellwether Bird

I heard and saw my first willow warbler of the season today in the area where we had our plastic structures. These birds look very similar to chiffchaffs but can be identified by their sad-sounding song. The Swedes think they are singing, "We who had it so good and yet it became like this." The collective noun for these birds is a confusion. A bird of our times.
