Den in the Woods

Inside a rather magical tree-filled hollow not far from the Ashdown Forest centre on the Ridge Road.

Today's 'Extra' - of a Silver Birch coming into leaf - was taken further along my walk, looking down over the Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Course that rather incongruously occupies a swathe of the northern part of the forest. (A lone golfer can even be seen if you look closely, making their way along the fairway.)
