Tulip

The fascination with tulips will be ongoing for a while I suspect. Most that we have are now coming into flower and it's hard to resist photographing them. This and the extra are both monochrome views from the same pot of tulips. I think the simplicity of the flower shape helps to make monochrome work for tulips; I find it more difficult to use monochrome with other, more complex, flower forms.

Off to Pilates later, to encourage a bit of flexibility and core strength. I like Pilates - for me it's a good body maintenance system that is free of short-term trends and requires no expensive apparel or equipment. We have a new teacher, who I think is going to be good - that always helps.
