Bowes Museum (1869)

Looking for some culcher we headed to the nearby megalopolis of Barnard Castle where we came across the stunning edifice of the Bowes Museum. 

Earlier there was another trail run around the Teesdale Way and later there was a long dog walk along the Teesdale Railway path back to the Rose & Crown for a pint of Black Sheep in front of the fire. 

The weather was slightly warmer today with the prolonged easterly starting to wane.
