Jump and Party!
The kids had a blast today!! We headed into town and went to a big indoor bouncy kid heaven! Tyler was the oldest child there, so there was not hardly any rough housing, craziness, etc. For as crazy and as much fun as was had, the stress level was very low. Little Hannah was even able to climb up the ladders for the big slides all by herself! The slide in this picture was not very fast but it was super bouncy, so Tyler was going nuts bouncing down the whole thing. I had a hard time deciding on a picture I actually liked today. In fact, the pictures I liked most were the ones my sister got. But, this one will do!
Both kids went to bed tonight with curlers in their hair. Tyler couldn't stand to be left out, so I snuck one curler on top of his head. Mia happily sat while the other five were placed in her hair! During stories tonight, Tyler looked at me and said, "Mom, your belly looks like it has babies in it. [pause] but it doesn't. Lovely. Nothing like a sweet innocent reminder from a 4 year old that i've got a little extra weight in tow. hmph!
Today was rainy, which has really been a rarity this winter. It felt so strange to be driving along in the rain. We've either had just super cold weather or snow, but have had almost zero rain. Maybe it's a sign that spring is on the way.
I've also noticed that with my new love of blipping, I have often wished I could capture other senses to share with you. The other day, I totally wished I could have taken a picture of how good the Mole sauce in the making smelled. and tonight, I stuck my head outside and wished I could capture how peaceful the tiny raindrops sounded.
Goodnight all!
