lights out ..

two years ago today mother passed away ... I wouldnt want to be seen as the grieving son as truth be told i didnt have the best relationship with mum..to be fair dont think anyone did... i say this very tongue in cheek.. a injured cornered warthog had alot of similarities with mother..she was no stranger to hardships in her life and spent 20 years of life struggling against bad health , probably would explain her dower disposition. I remember taking her to the titantic exhibition in london,,, she loved all things naval... she picked up a few things to buy and i remember scrabbling around in her purse at the till.. looking a little lost and vulnerable..bless her..as Ali has just said ,, funny what sticks in your mind.. i did do her a service of escorting her to NZ in 88 to visit her long lost brother... dear ole uncle fred,,a true kiwi legend.... so today i remember my mum...
on the home front we had not one but two girls picked up from school.. both siobhan and shamara didnt last the whole day,, apparently theyre dropping like flies at school.. I didnt fair much better ..up at 4:30 am cough cough cough.. so watched a bit of top gun...great film...i know its a bit of a chic flick but hey ....
Tomorrow nite back on the trial at the brook and John Couglans status Quo...that will put a grin on me mug.. tomorrow also i have to shop for a little number to wear on saturday nite when we are seeing the bjorn again girls.. and of course ill be asking the question does my bum look big in this??? youll see what i mean if i get something suitable that fits..
