JC`s Status Quo

well its come to pass .. i said it ..ali hasnt got the lurg...but she has now ,, bless her in bed sick as a dog... thats 4-0 to the lurgy...not one of us is over this damn bug...safe to say its driving us mad..
that said and spinning today in a far more positive way.. had a lovely visit from my brov this morning and his daughter on her birthday,, (happy birthday hols.)
This evenings entertainment was provided by the original drummer from status quo and his band doing alot of the more obscure quo tracks from way back when.. have to say as much as i like quo.. (who doesnt) they have gone a bit poppy... their heyday was up to the early eighties.. i remember seeing them on the day i left school.. june 15th 1982 at the princes trust do at the NEC as it was then ...my god it was loud and rocking...great gig tonite,, just an honest rock and roll band,, no thrills... just some beat up marshall amps on stage... another 300 frames in the bag... mind you it was challenging to get good shots tonite.. the brook is a brill venue..brilliant lighting..superb PA.. never a dull moment there.. think i was spoilt by Mostly Autumn last week...having a 6 foot gorgeous blond front "man" does make for easy piccies !! lol...
