Wisteria Love

I've been waiting for Nellie of the Woods wisteria to bloom and when I turned the corner of their house Boom! A colour explosion! It goes over two sides of their house as you will see if you view the link! There is one with Oscar apparently looking up at it - actually he is after the antlers in the hanging bowl! I love wisteria, my dad made a wisteria walk along the side of a garden wall so it has strong memories of him.  As Nellie and Barry were in I had a cup of tea with them - peppermint fresh from their garden for me! I used the word mendacious to describe someone and Barry asked what it meant - I had to think! Funny how you know a word is right but then can't explain its meaning! Luckily I described it right as Nellie checked it on google!
I aksed to take a photo of them under their wisteria as next year they may have finished doing their new house and moved. They are both so comfortable in their own skins and with each other - I think it shows in the photos.
Come the eve I decided to try Oscar on the allotment as I put the hens to bed. Well the metal fence peg held him but oh dear me did he leap up and pull on the metal lead and bark. he was fine with me next to him as we waited for the hens to go in but he just can't tolerate me being in with them and away from him, plus being interested in them! My nerves can't take his antics at present so I will leave it a while before I try again and do so during the day when I have no duties to do in with the hens!
