Anddd relax..

Today started as most days have done. Breakfast, and then a walk to the library for a day of revision. However, today JD & I had plans at 2:30 to meet LadyFindhorn - to go over some maps that may prove useful for our trip, and for a cup of tea and a chat. Sitting on LF’s beautiful patio, looking out onto the meadows, we sat and ate homemade cake and sipped on tea, and laughed and joked. It was great fun, and the maps are great! We departed, with plans to call back soon, and made our way back to library for some late afternoon revision. After a couple of hours of studying I was tired and fed up, so I made my way home. I went to see how JD was getting on, and it seemed she was in for a late one - motivated by promising herself a bath once she’d finished. I returned home to a lovely flat meal, and even a homemade cheesecake! After dinner we played cards, and then started to wind down, and I got the maps out and began tracing out the route. JD rang me when she was leaving the library - almost 11pm - and so I put the bath on. Tired and slightly burnt out she quickly sunk into the hot bath, time to relax. Great end to a long day!
