A Beautiful Canopy

My neighborhood is ablaze with the blossoms of these cherry trees and other flowering limbs. Some of the branches are so heavy with blooms that the sun can barely eek thru. As the petals fall, while they may be a nuisance to homeowners as they collect on cartops and driveways, the children find great sport in building houses and decorative piles and tossing them at each other (almost as fulfilling in creating snowmen, haha). How wonderful!
