Marches en Bois

They are everywhere. Curious. TSM said they must be a nightmare in the middle of winter.

Love the architecture of Montreal. Much more interesting than Toronto. Lots of street art and a funny little white marble sculpture of a squat caricatured family group and a curious lone runner. The Metro system is excellent, £23 for a week long ticket on all the tubes and buses.

We went out for coffee, bought supplies, came back and had breakfast. Then walked down to the old port, had coffee and cakes in what was once a bank. Beautiful. Bumped into the aircrew from our flight, who were lovely.

Notre Dame was fantastic. Real rock’n’roll as churches go. Check out the extras.

Had a sleep then tea and toasted teacakes. Then went out to eat in a very nice vegan restaurant with a great vibe.

Brilliant day.
