A day of treats!

All my junk interesting odds and ends were collected today. I'm sure I do hope they'll find some of it useful...

Such excitement this morning - we had a visit from Jordan, Sarah and their wee new daughter. Jordan wanted to see Archie, but we insisted that he didn’t feel guilty about not taking him out. He (Jordan) is exhausted, with a wee new baby to tend to. But he assured Archie that he was still his Number One Boy. Archie was initially Quite Interested in the tiny bundle, but then decidedly Unimpressed. Archie gave the baby a miniature schnauzer toy. (Extra)

We were besotted. She is a perfect wee baby, and only about a week old. She is tiny. Her parents are tired but deliriously happy.

After they’d gone home, we wandered down to pick up Rufus and his mum for a birthday luncheon in town. And very scrumptious it was too. We didn’t indulge in desserts in the cafe, because we knew there was the offer of chocolate cake and Prosecco back at Christine's. Best dessert ever.

Home again. Just been to admire the newly tidied cupboards once more...
