They're back

I was up early and looked through the telescope and could see that there were dolphins around.I waited for Mike to wake up and we then went down to the Point.Lovely and sunny one minute, the next cold, icy showers. We were dressed for the weather though and the bad weather soon past although it was not easy taking photos. We watched a couple of breaches in the distance and several tail slaps. There were quite a few dolphins around and a lovely seal that kept popping his head up.
In the afternoon we went to the Groam House Museum to drop off some biscuits as a thank you for the session with Brownies and also Mike wanted to see the Local finds exhibition. While we were there I asked if they had any old photos of Fortrose High Street they did and you are able to purchase copies so I ordered some and as it was for Brownies he said they would be no charge :)
We then went to Strathpeffer to drop off a Brownie Blanket to one of the leaders. She was looking after her niece as her Dad had been in a bad motorbike accident and wanted to start a Brownie Badge Blanket that night to help take her mind off things.Luckily I had one in the cupboard.
We went up to Loch Killellan ,it was cold and started to sleet so I just had a quick look at the Slavonian grebes and the swan who was turning her eggs.
We risked a walk at Brahan and the shower that we saw approaching headed in a different direction. A wonderful walk through azaleas,Rhoddies and bluebells.Down to the pond where another swan was on eggs with the male swimming and then feeding on the new shoots in the farmers field.Lots of sand martens were flying low over the water.
Beautiful rainbows led us home.
My Mum’s birthday so had a lovely chat on the phone, not long now till we go done for a visit :)
