Happy birthday Mum

My Mum’s birthday today so we had a nice natter on the phone this afternoon. The weathers still hot in Kent with only one heavy down pour of rain in weeks. Sunny again here today. I fed the plants for the first time. The broad beans are looking really good and the peas have started to put on some growth.
Mike went down to the allotment and made another cage over the rest of the strawberries.
I emptied some of the pots which have finished flowering ready for some Summer bedding that should be arriving in the next few weeks. I planted some freesias and Nerine.
My brother popped up to my Mum’s and hung some balloons on the door :)
