The Fruit of Passion

I can hardly believe when I look at this flower that it will become a passion fruit........such a wild a wondrous beauty that turns into a very uncomplicated egg shape that is often a dark and unassuming deep purple brown colour.
Then there is the exciting stuff inside...an unmistakable taste that brings you right into the present...not chocolaty creamy drifting off with this zingy sharp/sweet taste with crunch seeds hiding behind the pulpy yummy ness thats slips down the throat not unlike an oyster but without the salty sea stuff going on.
