Planting The Mandarin Tree

We left that job to him.....he has become the citrus prince and has taken over the planting of and care of.

But that's not all...he has been quite a legend the past few days  shovelling manure and earth...rocks and more rocks and today we planted all the beds out with veggies and flowers (both very important).....which I will blip later.

Its so nice to see our boy enjoying the pleasures of gardening (even if he did wear his slippers out to do it) and we let him have the morning off of his school work to plant figuring that is just as important that he learn about growing his own food as well as his math.....(well.....he did some this afternoon).

Now the garden just needs to be maintained...Im kinda glad the heavy stuff is over now as it really has been a big job and the old body is not happy about it.

I am wondering what the next project is going to be.
