Lady In Waiting

I took mum over to The Cambridge Lea hospital for her second attempt at having a knee replacement operation. This time her blood pressure was ok so, once they’d settled her in and done her obs, dad and I said our goodbyes and left her.
I’ve had a message this evening to say that the operation went well, she’s not in any pain but she’s been very sick. I really hope she feels better tomorrow.

Tonight, I had a meeting at Poppy’s school about her Paris trip next month which sounds exciting and now I’m catching up on some work for tomorrow.

Oh, and lasagne tonight from the Gousto box. It took forever to make but was very nice so I’d say that’s another success.
