Unexpected Guests

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

After working today ON THE NICEST DAY OF THE YEAR, The Prince and I went to meet Paddy who is over from The Falklands on a visit for a bite to eat.

He told us a story from his navy days...

His shop was once stationed in the same place as an army platoon from Cheshire and a Gurkha platoon.

Culturally, it is not unusual for Gurkhas to hold hands and some p1ssed up soldiers started being @rsesholes and throwing insults. To their credit, the Gurkhas remained calm and dignified, finished their drinks and left.

But not before identifying the leader of the rammy. After they left the bar, they climbed up onto the roof of the soldiers’ accomodation, removed the roof tiles and waited 3 hours for the top tw@t to come back. He was quite surprised to find that he had visitors literally dropping in on him who were keen to explain the error of his ways.

Revenge really is a dish best serves cold!
