Spring in the Garden

This fern in our back yard will no doubt look very different tomorrow morning, as it slowly uncurls and stretches toward the light. I wish I knew how to do a time-lapse video, as it would be fascinating to watch that process. 

The apple blossoms in the extra photo look as if they've been to a wild party. The bees have now moved on to the evergreen huckleberry bushes, native plants that will keep them busy until the wild blackberry blossoms appear.

The natural world never ceases to delight me!
