Diary of an Edinburgher

Scones

Instead of the bike this morning, I cut the grass - a more productive use of half an hour. Also got the washing out - two loads is always pleasing.

JR did her double gym session, and Jordan came to pick up Archie. He's back at work, but will take parental leave later on.

Mary, our wee pal who goes to the gym too, came round after her session and we dandered along to the local cafe, which does a pretty decent flat white. And, this morning, EPIC blueberry scones! Jordan joined us there with Archie when he came back.

We then left Archie at home and nipped across town to the plasterers - much easier without him in the car. We found a frieze online that fitted our space, but were told it was a paper one! It's proving not quite straightforward...

Sat out the back for lunch when we came home, and contemplated another BBQ (six in a row!). But as the afternoon wore on, the clouds came and it got cooler. Much cooler.

Archie wanted to pose with the dandelions before they were beheaded.
