Lords and Ladies

Or, as my identification software also describes them - Cuckoo Pint, Jack-in-the-Pulpit or, surprisingly, Naked Boys.
This is the plant that produces those red berries on a stalk once it gets to maturity. The yellow stamen in the centre is rarer than the normal brown version; it is also smaller. Care must be taken with it, as the berries are toxic and the flower itself can be a serious irritant causing skin rashes. To be avoided, especially if children are around who may be tempted to eat the berries.

As an update, I have now completed my back-blipping for 2014. Thanks for all the comments; they are appreciated. Anyone interested in seeing my Africa Adventure only needs to look at 2014, which I just managed to finish.
