Morning Nap

The puppies have been a constant source of entertainment since they arrived...even when they are sleeping.  Fang, the rapidly growing American Bulldog, can't lie still for more than about 10 minutes before he flops (heavily) around into another silly position.  I was trying to think of a word to describe how he moves around (awake and asleep) and I came up with galumph - "to march or bound along in a self-satisfied, triumphant manner or to move or walk heavily and clumsily".  It all fits perfectly.  He weighs 56 pounds at 5 months old, having gained 10 pounds in just over a month, and it's like he isn't used to his huge size yet.  And neither are we!!  Many thanks to Admirer for hosting Silly Saturdays!

I had a good night's sleep in the bedroom with Piper last night and I am grateful for that!  PD said that the pups cuddled with him all night in the living room but all their tossing and turning kept him awake.  It's my turn again tonight...
