Spot the greyhound

What a gorgeous day - I left the emails behind for half an hour while we enjoyed the sunshine.

David is back to earth after a weekend in Venice with the delights of Thirsk for a week - poor lad. They had a bit of a journey home yesterday - I had given them money for a water taxi but there was a regatta so they had to be transported by minibus from the station to the airport. Their plane was delayed then took two attempts to land at Leeds Bradford - quite common due to its elevation and crosswinds but not much fun to experience! Poor old Anisha's train to London was cancelled, then the Tube train she took out of Kings Cross broke down! 

Still, they loved Venice - Anisha survived the pigeons (just) and it sounds as if they had a great time. Gives me wanderlust - even though I've only been home a week.....
