Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!
A wet arrival in Glasgow at 2am. A poor morning, but did brighten. Arrived home to a cold but calm Shetland, fairly dull all day, but some sunshine this evening.
Up early, and spent the morning in Glasgow. Headed to the airport after lunch, and in Sumburgh at 4pm. Big Brian picked us up, and Madeline had mince and tatties ready for our arrival. Sammy was delighted, and made a real carry on. Been walkies around Scalloway this evening. Great to see tirricks and summer birds, everything is coming to life, green fields and wild flowers, and my garden too. Plenty of work to catch up with. Woops, the deep freezer got switched off by accident, smelly and needing cleaned.
Another one ticked off the mural trail - Honey, I Shurnk the Kids. Another one painted by Smug, Sam Bates, an Australian artist. The huge image shows a woman picking up objects from the street, unfortunately this time it was peerie Brian! Peerie Brian really does look like a peerie man here. Taken on Mitchell Street, Glasgow.
