We Are Sailing

Not aboard The Titanic - we've just come down to Southampton to see Rod Stewart at St Mary's stadium; I'm sure he'll go down well!

The city seems to be full of people of a certain age, clad in tartan or Celtic football shirts taking on liquid refreshment in anticipation of the event. We're about to put on our glad rags ( no hand bag for me) but will be both sober and more soberly dressed for the occasion.

This pub is in the old town, just round the corner from our hotel.
