Home for the summer

I had planned to go for a run this morning but by the time I’d got out of bed it had started to rain and I hate running in the rain so I did’t go. I worked from home today.
Bibi came home from university today. She had her last exam this afternoon and has finished her first year at university. She was due to arrive at Feltham station at 8.05pm so I drove to pick her up. As I was approaching the station, she called me to say that she was unable to open the train doors and was on her way to Twickenham so I drove there to pick her up. I’m happy to have her home for the summer.
