Beating the Odds

Despite a dire forecast, thanks to a mad drive through the fog by Hilary, I made it up to the snowline in a window of sunshine.  It didn't last!  See extra pics.

A great day on the hill nonetheless.  Nice to finally see Corydalis cava in flower, even if the pic was taken from under my trusty umbrella and Pulsatilla alpina only just starting to flower.  The weather was very changeable and sometimes very dark, cold and wet .... but it was fun :-)
