lots of snow!

we had around 10 inches of snow overnight and it is still coming down. went out to do a bit of shovelling, for the exercise, and just before I came back in Alan asked me to go out to the back yard and hang up his new bird feeder he got for Xmas. it has food that the cardinals will love but the squirrels will hate. we'll see!

someone had a close shave last night, they must have skidded off the road an into Alan's front yard, missing the telephone pole by inches. I heard a lot of noise early this morning but just thought it was the snow plough, but I think it was the car? being pulled out. made a bit of a mess of the grass but hopefully nobody was hurt.
