Today's the day . . . . . . . to identify

My brother Ron has agreed to keep an eye on a neighbour's garden while they are away and to water plants if required.  There is a very good collection of alpines in their own little glasshouse - and so I was keen to go with him this evening just in case he needed a hand.

As soon as I saw these beauties, I recognised them immediately.  They have deservedly featured more than once in the journal of Knottman2.  He would have felt very at home, I think in the alpine house.
