New Sculpture

Went for a run this morning, and saw this new sculpture in one of the gardens by the park gate.

An artist lives there and there is usually just one sculpture of a bird in the garden, but this enormous tinsel-clad figure has joined it sometime in the past week or so. Very dramatic!

Tough run, very slow and sluggish, and feirce mud. Slippery with huge puddles everywhere, and driving rain. But I love that sort of weather for running.

Popped over to see my mum again this morning. She's doing well.

Played board games and read with the children, lazed about and had turkey curry for dinner! A nice relaxed day. The children are making a film with Al's camera. They are using figures and lots of sound effects. I can't wait see it! Al is director and I can hear him being very bossy! Shooting was suspended due to a flat battery much to his frustration!
