This morning I was awake before D so drove to the ferry terminal while he was still in bed, he said he felt like a kidnap victim, noting the cattle grids and turns in the road. It was a journey of under 10 minutes so he didnt suffer for long.
We had breakfast while waiting for the ferry and then a calm and sunny crossing to Harris. St Clements Church at Rodel was built in 1520 and is a beautiful place. D did his meditation there and I looked at a lovely exhibition called "Seven Waves" which links Geotge Mackay Brown's poem about the Tryst on Egilsay with a series of painted banners hanging from the church roof.
We are now at Luskentyre, where we will spend the night. Here is a beach photo as an extra :-)
