Closer inspection . . .

This morning you couldn't see across the bay, the haar had come in and the wetness was hanging in the air.  Desperate for some exercise, Lottie and I went to visit neighbours who have a new garden shed.  It's not finished yet, but it's very handy for coffee and chocolate biscuits!  

As we walked past this field the calves came galloping over to get a better look at Lottie!  She was a bit taken aback, especially when their mothers came and joined them, but eventually she sat down and occasionally growled gently at them, just to let them know she wasn't scared!
