Blowing with the ink

 
What, you might be wondering, are these people doing with straws in their mouth ?
 
Well tonight I attended an impromptu pop-up workshop on painting with alcohol inks. Part of the process is blowing ink around on shiny paper.
 
Our tutor, Lorraine a Filipino student from the local art college, happened to be carrying all the equipment, inks, alcohol and straws in her rucksack.
 
“Do you want to have a go?” she said to a group of us, members of GOSSIP the artists’ collective in Stirling.
So we did.
