Foxglove in Evening Light

What with arguing with Barclaycard about a payment to Apple, I lost the afternoon. But Gill had invited us to join her and Geoffrey for a post choir season celebration. A quiet one.

Their garden was looking wonderful, so out came the phone. Caught this foxglove contrejour.

Although the evening was pleasant enough, we opted to stay indoors for cucumber sandwiches, sausages and nibbles. I must say, the pack of Malbec I'd bought from Sainsbury's was very pleasant.

Quite an intensive workout at Aqua Aerobics with Lynne today. She does like to exercise arms and my right arm doesn't like that. Gill told me that she was babysitting next door that very evening.
