Another Room With A View

We are staying in a hotel at Periglia, near Nidri, Lefkada Island (Greece) which is family run, small, well maintained and nicely situated. Our room has commanding stunning views over the east coat and many islands that lead to Nidri Marina. We overlook Madouri, Sparti, and Scorpios Islands (formerly owned by Onassis family)

I woke up before the alarm was due to go off at 5am and from my balcony took a few photographs of the developing sunrise facing North.

Most of the afternoon we spent on Gialos Beach (S.W coast) which has a long bending cliffside road to access it. It's amazing how they build these roads, many years ago before modern engineering. It's been about 34C. It feels like we may have a thunderstorm to clear the air!
